Our team is comprised of ISA Certified Arborists who are Certified Tree Safety Professionals (CTSP), trained in Tree Risk Assessment (TRAQ). We offer ISA Certified Arborist reports for tree health, condition and potential for hazard in order for a tree owner to make an informed decision regarding a plan for tree care and maintenance. We can provide an Arborist report for documentation and permitting when needed.

When you contact our office, we will set up a time that works best for you to meet on your property with one of our ISA Certified Arborists.

  1. We will complete a thorough inventory of your key landscape trees and shrubs. This inventory is kept in our records permanently for future access.
  2. After your inventory is completed, your consulting arborist will highlight any concerns that need to be addressed. This could be insect and disease problems, structural problems or safety concerns. If you have any questions, our team will have the answers.
  3. Lastly, we compile a unique management plan for your landscape that meets your priorities and budget.

Each tree and shrub has its own style. Each customer has their own vision and goal in mind of what they want their landscape to look like. From powered pruning shears for a dense shrub, to hand pruning to keep a natural shape and increased flowering are both common pruning styles. Trees can have their canopies elevated high or also kept low, depending on customer desires. There is pruning that removes dead and decaying wood, promoting a healthier tree.

In the end, our arborists will ask questions to determine your desires and end result and we have the training and skills to accomplish almost any goal in mind.

We look for dead, dry peeling bark. Once we are in a tree pruning it’s obvious to tell dead buds from healthy buds, and dead brown tissue from healthy green tissues.

How quickly pruning goes is determined by the size of the job and its location. If we are removing a few branches that we can reach with pole saws from the ground it will be very quick. If we are cleaning all the dead wood out from a tree’s canopy, it could take an entire day to be completed properly.

A tree along a driveway will allow us easier access resulting in saved time, versus a tree down a ravine we are pruning to open up a new view.
